Club Competitions

As a Member of the Club there are numerous competitions to be entered if competitive golf is your thing.

There is an active senior’s section for those who are over 55 and the main competitions are held on Tuesday and Fridays. All three sections play against other Clubs in their respective groupings.

Outside of the sections there are the normal Club Tournaments which include various cups and trophies, including the Club Championship played over two days.

There is a main Club Competition virtually every Saturday or Sunday. These are played across the scoring systems of Stableford, Medal and Bogey.

There are also 4BBB, pairs, fun and mixed competitions. You will need a handicap to play in competitions. If you are new to golf you will need to play three rounds with a current Shrivenham Park Golf Club member to score your card.

Both parties sign the card, input a general play round and pop into the competition book in the clubhouse. We will bring you onto our Clubv1 system for your future scores.

Our Ladies does meet up on a Thursday and has friendly matches also, some ladies also play at the weekend in the mixed events.

As you will see there is plenty of opportunity to get involved in competitive golf on a weekly basis. If competition is not your thing then any member can play at any time whether or not a competition is in progress.
